We're back up in our new digs! We fully expect problems in having drivewesaid.com resolve to our new server while the DNS changes propagate, but otherwise, it seems to be running fine.
Better than fine, really; the new server is a screamer compared to our old home.

Downtime TONIGHT
A reminder: tonight at midnight, central time (US), the site will be down for likely a couple (or more) hours as we switch to our new server. Once the site is up, another post will be made here and on our page on Facebook (link to the right), with info on our new IP address in case the address drivewesaid.com is slow to resolve for you. Potential Down Time on 12/31
drivewesaid.com will likely be down for a couple of hours on Monday, 12/31 as we make site improvements.
If you're a long time DwS user, you've probably noted some site hiccups over the last few months as we've outgrown our home. After discussion amongst the governance committee and a good bit of searching for a good deal, we've found an affordable dedicated hosting plan that will give us plenty of room for growth. We'll be offline for a couple of hours on the 31st as we move into our new home.
After we're back up, going to the same address, drivewesaid.com, should bring you to our new server. Please watch this space for news and updates as things progress.

Meet Your DwS Admin Team
To begin, we would like to thank everybody who has served on the board and helped technically with DwS. Without their tireless efforts, DwS would not be where it is today.
And now, I would like to introduce your new DwS admin team:
- blackpaw
- Katy M
- Avatar
- Chili Gentilly
And yours truly, DH1.
Additionally, we have two admin "trainees", Agent 99 and fogharty. Our current plan is to have 6 month rotations for people on the admin team proper, to help limit workload and burnout.
In terms of responsibilities, DH1, blackpaw, Katy M and Avatar are available for tech duties. Katy M additonally has the all important financial oversight bossy hat, and will sign off on any authorized expenditures and financial reports.
Bios for all admin team members will be posted soon. A big thank you to all who've agreed to help with DwS oversight. We've already had our first admin team meeting and posted our monthly financials, and made important decisions regarding site finances. We all look frward to continuing to serve the DwS community.
