Meet Your DwS Admin Team

To begin, we would like to thank everybody who has served on the board and helped technically with DwS.  Without their tireless efforts, DwS would not be where it is today.

And now, I would like to introduce your new DwS admin team:

- blackpaw
- Katy M
- Avatar
- Chili Gentilly

And yours truly, DH1.

Additionally, we have two admin "trainees", Agent 99 and fogharty.  Our current plan is to have 6 month rotations for people on the admin team proper, to help limit workload and burnout.

In terms of responsibilities, DH1, blackpaw, Katy M and Avatar are available for tech duties.  Katy M additonally has the all important financial oversight bossy hat, and will sign off on any authorized expenditures and financial reports.

Bios for all admin team members will be posted soon.  A big thank you to all who've agreed to help with DwS oversight.  We've already had our first admin team meeting and posted our monthly financials, and made important decisions regarding site finances.  We all look frward to continuing to serve the DwS community.

Status Updates from Last Night's Upgrades

Last night's service updates were largely successful, but we are still have issues with avatar updates.  We will schedule another brief outage later this weekend and should have the problem resolved in the next couple of days.

I should also point out that highlights have been fixed for approximately 48 hrs, as was noted in other outlets.

Current work towards a new organizational structure

Work is being done towards a temporary organizational structure with oversight, and the voting and empaneling of a new board.  On the following threads in "The DwS Zone," discussions are ongoing:
